Hello! This week we will be learning about how a plant grows from a seed. This is the perfect time to learn about pumpkins and we will be carving our very own pumpkin on Tuesday!  We will estimate how many seeds are in the pumpkin, we will estimate its weight and vote on what kind of face it should have, either spooky or friendly.
This week our kindergartners will be learning the letter Rr. Homework will be given in a weekly packet, but there will be NO HOMEWORK Tuesday, which is Halloween!
First and second graders will be working on words with short vowel e and spelling test will be on Friday.
In math, we will continue counting to 100 and writing our numbers. We will also begin basic addition skills as well as measuring.

Hello! The week of October 16 will be conference week. I am sending home your date and time for your child's conference. If the time does not work for you, please let me know and we will find a new date and time. We will be going over your child's IEP progress, report card, and all over progress for the first quarter. Hello parents! This coming up week we will be reviewing the letters we have learned so far. We will also be reviewing counting to 50 and recognizing numbers 0-50. This review week is a great way to refresh what we have learned thus far. We will also be learning about rocks and soils and the weather.
