Hello! Just a reminder that there is no school for students on Tuesday, November 7.
Our kindergartners will continue working on letter of the week and the letter this week is R. Our first and second graders are working with words with short vowel sound "o". We will still have our spelling test on Friday.  We are also starting our "thankful" unit where we will talk, learn and write about all the things we are thankful for as well as learning about the Thanksgiving holiday.

In math , we will continue practicing counting to 100 and writing our numbers with correct formation. In kindergarten, we will begin looking at graphs and learning about more than, less than and equal to. Our first and second graders are doing well on beginning addition skills! we will continue working on this skill this week as well as place value, understanding in a two digit numbers there are tens and ones.

I hope you can make our Thanksgiving Day lunch at school. Our scheduled date and time is: Wednesday November 15 at 10:40-11:25. I will be sending home a reservation card for you to sign and send back. This is always such a wonderful day of all of families eating and visiting together. The lunch costs $3.50 and is always delicious!
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
Mrs. Marrow
